Retail Skills Shop only work with proven, quality training providers therefore ensuring our customers receive an excellent service.
Our main aim is to build on the Skillshop concept which has already been established within the Manchester Arndale, Trafford Centre and Wigan Town Centre. Each provides a service to the community focusing on increasing retail’s profile and working to make retail a first choice career option.
The Skillshop meet recruitment and training needs to employers, employees and people within the communities and can be a virtual or physical shop. Dedicated staff from the Retail Skills Shop work with local organisations including colleges, training providers, Chamber of Commerce etc., to ensure a first class service.
This ethos is being introduced to other areas within the North West presently and will continue over the coming years.
Through the relationship built with the Learning & Skills Council, Sector Skills Council (Skillsmart Retail), Jobcentre Plus etc., we are working to make retail a career of choice.
